AML Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled AML Compliance Clerk to join our team at Swipejobs.
Estimated Salary: $30,980 - $41,320 per year
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for fulfilling the Anti-Money-Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act requirements through identification and investigation of suspicious activity.
You will analyze customer account transactions to detect suspicious activity and make decisions on appropriate action to take. You will also work cooperatively with business lines to establish procedures for identifying suspicious customer transactions.
In addition, you will provide guidance, support, and recommendations to business lines regarding customer AML risk ratings and account activity. Based on the outcome of the investigation, you will analyze and determine whether or not a Suspicious Activity Report (SARs) must be filed with the Federal Government for any identified suspicious activity.
You will work cooperatively with internal departments, financial institutions, and local, state or federal authorities to obtain and analyze necessary information.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years of related experience.
- A basic understanding of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/AML laws and regulations.
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- The ability to display a positive attitude and high aptitude for learning and growth.
- The ability to analyze and write based on analysis conducted.
