Job Summary:

This is a travel nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting and be certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC and CPI.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Active compact license in the state of NH
  • 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS, PALS or ENPC and CPI certification
Work Environment:

The Emergency Department at Parkland Medical Center NH is a 19-bed unit with a 6-bed hall and 6-sub waiting room. The unit has a patient ratio of 1:5 and performs moderate sedation, central line placement, chest tube placement, IV insertion, lab draw, POC testing, EKGs, and respiratory treatments.
