Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective direct care to a variety of complex patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Manage care and implement treatment plans at a refined skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Seek and provide feedback for improved clinical practice.
  • Assume a beginning leadership role and seek mentoring in this process.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
Physical Demands
  • Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping.
  • Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull lbs.
  • May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
