The role of Global Medical Affairs Operations Lead at CSL Behring is a senior position that requires a high degree of expertise in medical affairs operations. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of changes and innovations to support the transformation project in Medical Affairs.

This includes reviewing existing governance, representation to business-critical committees, standard operating procedures, and workflows, as well as compliance within Medical Affairs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of worldwide legal and regulatory requirements and internal standards, enabling them to oversee the revision of existing documents and creation of new ones.

Additionally, this role involves a needs assessment to evaluate opportunities to improve technology support and identify areas for technology augmentation to enhance efficiencies across Medical Affairs. The selected individual will be responsible for selecting and implementing appropriate platforms.

Key responsibilities of this role include providing subject matter expertise and oversight for all Medical Affairs-related governance documents, including policies, charters, SOPs, guidelines, work instructions, and workflows. The Global Medical Affairs Operations Lead will also be accountable for ensuring monitoring and adherence to standards, documents, and established workflows.

Other key responsibilities include overseeing the development of key processes and SOPs, ensuring compliant standardization of processes throughout the Medical Affairs Global Organization, and directing the organization and execution of training on governance documents. The selected individual will also be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive audit of current platforms in use by Medical Affairs across the enterprise and identifying redundancies and opportunities to improve and standardize ways of working.
