About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Prepared Food Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our prepared foods team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food products to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food, ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area, adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance.
  • Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement by leveraging digital tools.
  • Manage high exposure and expectations, stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, and eliminating waste.
  • Guide peers and provide attention to customer needs, assisting customers according to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Food Service experience preferred.
  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification preferred.
