Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Specialist - Asset Protection to join our team. As a Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members. You will be responsible for preventing theft and shortage, responding to security incidents, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prevent Theft and Shortage: Conduct regular merchandise checks, identify and apprehend shoplifters, and implement strategies to prevent theft and shortage.
  • Respond to Security Incidents: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including altercations, thefts, and other safety concerns.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet and assist guests, respond to customer inquiries, and provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with team members to maintain a safe and secure environment, share knowledge and best practices, and provide support as needed.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Company Policies: Familiarize yourself with company policies and procedures, including security protocols, customer service standards, and loss prevention strategies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check and meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to climb up and down ladders, apprehend subjects in accordance with company policy, scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
