We are currently seeking a Teller Operations Supervisor to oversee all aspects of teller operations at our bank. This role involves supervising teller personnel, maintaining security measures, and assisting in reaching business goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervising teller operations and providing training for banking professionals
- Consolidating daily teller sheets and resolving any issues
- Maintaining security of the teller area and vault
- Approving transactions on selected deposit accounts
- Handling return items and uncollected overdrafts
- Performing banking tasks as required
- Assisting in new accounts area when necessary
- Handling adjustments to accounts and certificates
- Processing business account transactions
- Completing other assigned duties
- 2-4 years of teller and supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of banking products and services
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to work with customers to understand their financial needs
- Experience in coaching and mentoring
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
- Preferred bilingual in Spanish
- Independent and motivated self-starter
- Results-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Collaborative team player
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
We provide comprehensive training for this position to ensure your success. Our Onboarding & Orientation Process will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills. Training for banking professionals is provided on either a part-time or full-time basis for 10 business days.
