Key Responsibilities:
- Complete necessary record-keeping related to admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and support personnel daily to plan services, programs, and activities to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Prepare and administer medications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medication records.
- Review resident care plans for appropriate goals, issues, approaches, and revisions based on nursing needs.
- Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, objectives, policies, and procedures essential for delivering quality care.
- Provide leadership to nursing personnel and conduct daily rounds to ensure adherence to resident care plans.
- Foster relationships with nursing staff, other departments, residents, family members, and all individuals involved in resident care.
- Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Must hold a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in the state.
- Knowledgeable in nursing and medical practices, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.
- Ability to document nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner reflecting the care provided and the resident's response.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
