The Role: As a Senior Software Engineering Lead at S&P Global, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions for our global carbon trading platform. This role involves leading a team of software engineers to architect, design, and develop software components for various IT systems, as well as managing and improving existing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of software solutions within an Agile team
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop software components
  • Design and implement software components for different IT systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and code comments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10 to 16 years of experience in Full Stack Java, Springboot, AWS, API development, and more
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, and expertise in Microservices
