Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-time Faculty, Drafting Technology to join our team at Palomar College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching drafting technology/CADD (Computer Aided Drafting/Design) courses and will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach drafting technology/CADD courses, including beginning and advanced AutoCAD techniques
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in drafting technology
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years of professional experience in drafting technology or a related field
  • Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in a related field
  • Experience teaching drafting technology/CADD courses
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software and technologies
