Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients, administering respiratory therapy procedures and modalities, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized respiratory care plans
  • Administer respiratory therapy procedures and modalities, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state of Illinois
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree
