Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Health. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms, offices, and public areas as assigned by supervisor.
  • Ensure adequate linens are kept in the facility and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Refill supplies (paper products, soap, etc.) as needed and keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stored when not in use.
  • Assist Housekeeping Supervisor and Manager as needed and report any situations that may affect the health and well-being of patients or employees.
  • Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, Safety and Risk Management Plans, and policies and procedures.
  • Use time constructively and in an organized manner to accomplish assigned responsibilities.
  • Address patients, visitors, and coworkers in a pleasant and respectful manner.
  • Assist in any emergencies that may arise and adhere to facility, department, corporate, personnel, and standard policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of six (6) months experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are required.
