About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Consultant to join our team at TrueCare. As a key member of our primary care treatment team, you will play a vital role in identifying, triaging, and managing patients with medical and behavioral health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skill training through psycho-education and patient education strategies
  • Develop specific behavioral/therapeutic treatment plans for patients
  • Assist primary health care providers in recognizing and treating mental disorders and psychosocial problems
  • Detect 'at risk' patients and assess the clinical status of patients referred by the primary care provider
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or PhD/PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program
  • Licensed in California as an LCSW, Psychologist, or LMFT
  • Strong pediatric experience required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • At least two (2) years' experience providing psychotherapy (CBT based models preferred) with children, adults, and adolescents
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite
