Sumitomo Rubber North America, Inc is seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team at our Joliet, Illinois Distribution Center.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a professional driver with a strong work ethic and a clean driving record to transport goods safely and efficiently across the country. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer vehicle, maintaining E-logs and other paperwork, and performing pre-trip/post-trip checks of the truck and trailer according to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer vehicle to transport goods across the country
  • Maintain E-logs and other paperwork
  • Perform pre-trip/post-trip checks of the truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
  • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
  • Meet delivery deadlines and maintain a safe and efficient route
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience driving a commercial tractor/trailer vehicle OTR
  • Valid IL Class A Commercial driver's license
  • Clean driving record with good MVR
  • Ability to lift +50lbs
  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude
Benefits:
  • Hourly rate $25.00-27.00 per hour
  • Potential to earn $80-$100k per year
