About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant to join our Dermatology team at Johns Hopkins University. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including interviewing patients, compiling medical histories, performing physical examinations, and developing treatment plans according to established protocols.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Interview patients, compile medical histories, and assist in determining health status.
  • Perform physical examinations, noting normal and abnormal findings.
  • Obtain specimens, run routine laboratory tests, and perform diagnostic procedures as required.
  • Develop treatment plans according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with supervisory physicians and other professionals to implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and family members on maintaining good health and disease prevention.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certification by the NCCPA or similar national certifying body.
  • Completion of a CAAHEP certified Physician Assistant program.
  • Licensure as a PA in Maryland or other state where practicing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Dermatology PA.
