Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Select and operate the appropriate technical factors for each study, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Perform and complete diagnostic CT examinations in a caring and compassionate manner, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to each exam, obtaining informed consent and completing required fields accurately and on time.
- Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through ongoing education and training.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, colleagues, and radiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, and keep the room stocked with necessary supplies.
- Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimal patient care.
- Completion of a 2-year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
- ARRT (CT) certification.
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 100 lbs.
- Minimum of 2 years current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology (X-Ray or CT), preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
