Position Overview: Neurology Physician Assistant

As a key member of our neurology care team, the Physician Assistant will have the opportunity to expand their expertise in various neurology skills and procedures. This role is designed for those looking to enhance their clinical knowledge while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing patient care, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments and establish presumptive diagnoses.
2. Perform general work-ups, including the ordering of necessary laboratory tests.
3. Collaborate with supervising physicians to address and manage patient medical issues post-diagnosis.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule. Hours may vary based on the needs of the practice.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient setting.
- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a neurology-focused care environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Licensure in the State of New York.
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
