About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Framing Specialist at Michaels, a leading creative destination in North America. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating memorable framing solutions, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Embrace and execute personal designer by using Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with all customers while creating Custom Framing solutions.
  • Deliver sales and production results, including completing framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
  • Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience while adhering to cash handling standards.
  • Support shrink and safety programs, and interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
  • Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
  • Ability to move throughout the store, remain standing for long periods, and lift heavy boxes and frames.
