Job Title: Travel Nurse RN

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Maine Medical Center - Portland.

Job Summary:

This is a travel nurse position that requires a Registered Nurse with experience in post anesthesia care. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to post anesthesia patients in a PACU setting
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Post anesthesia care experience required
  • Phase 2 experience preferred
  • ICU background preferred
  • ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
  • EPIC experience and level 1 trauma center experience preferred
Work Environment:

This is a travel nurse position that requires working in a fast-paced PACU environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
