Barista

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing high-quality beverages and food items in a fast-paced coffee shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee shop beverages, including specialty drinks and food items, to meet customer demands.
• Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and providing change as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards for safety and sanitation.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, ensuring that the coffee shop is well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Stay up-to-date on company programs, promotions, and product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the coffee shop.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
