Structural Drafter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Drafter to join our team at CNY Outsourcing. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and specifications from architectural and structural sketches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop plan views and detailed shop and submittal drawings
  • Create bill of materials and hardware lists
  • Work independently to complete drawings on a timely basis

Requirements:

  • Associates degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in 2D drafting (3D a plus)
  • Sound technical background
  • Excel and Word computer knowledge
  • Understanding of OSHA and NYS Building codes
