Furniture Delivery Driver Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team at W.B. Mason Company, Inc. As a Furniture Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering furniture to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver furniture to customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Place, assemble, and/or install furniture to customer specifications
  • Develop and maintain outstanding working relationships with customers
  • Plan and carry out daily routes to ensure all deliveries are made
  • Communicate issues to supervisory staff in a timely manner
  • Drive safely and maintain a valid driver's license

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Class A or B CDL license
  • 1+ year of CDL truck driving experience

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to alternate positions frequently, stand, walk, sit, and descend from a vehicle, communicate/be able to understand information and ideas, speak, hear, and observe details at both close and far ranges. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
