Our expertise lies in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, and process systems, catering to prominent clients across the biopharmaceutical, semiconductor, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial sectors.

Role Responsibilities

As a Boiler Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services for commercial boiler and HVAC systems, with capacities up to 1000HP.
  • Diagnosing and repairing commercial boiler systems, including oil-fired and gas-fired boilers, along with their associated control systems.
  • Exhibiting a strong understanding of combustion settings for both oil and gas boilers.
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance on various types and brands of boilers and burners across multiple markets, including healthcare, hospitality, higher education, and manufacturing.
  • Managing hydronic, domestic hot water, and steam systems, including high and low-pressure steam systems, DA and feedwater tanks, and pumping systems.
  • Executing inspections by opening and closing boilers, cleaning boiler tubes, and checking and cleaning all safety mechanisms.
  • Logging and recording temperatures, amperage, and voltage on boiler systems.
  • Utilizing tablet-based service ticket software for efficient task management.
  • Being available for overtime as required and participating in a scheduled on-call rotation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid journeyman license.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with commercial boilers.
  • Experience in commercial and industrial gas/oil heat service.
  • Background in commercial and/or industrial HVAC replacement.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare facilities.
  • An understanding of control systems and wiring, including parallel positioning.
  • A solid grasp of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional demeanor, ethical standards, and a collaborative spirit.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
