Job Title: Van Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Van Driver to transport students in various programs.

Job Summary:

The Van Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, as well as to extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to student safety and well-being, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport students to and from school, as well as to extracurricular activities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Maine Driver's License with excellent driving record
  • Appropriate licensing to meet Maine laws and regulations
  • Must pass an annual physical
  • Valid DOE fingerprinting certification

The Westbrook School Transportation Department is a positive workplace environment dedicated to the safe and friendly transportation of all students.
