Job Summary

At ArchWell Health, we're seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our clinical care team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our primary care physicians and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient intake, including vital sign measurement and medical history recording
  • Perform routine diagnostic testing and examinations, ensuring patient comfort and understanding
  • Engage with patients throughout appointments, reporting any changes in patient condition to physicians and clinical personnel
  • Process patient phone messages, route calls to team members, and provide health coaching to patients
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and maintain accurate, legal, and ethical documentation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training
  • Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant; 6+ months' phlebotomy experience highly desired
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers required; EClinical Works or similar EMR experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including staff, providers, members, and vendors
