We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plasma Center Nurse - LPN to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Donor Eligibility: Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, including proper management of informed consent, medical history interview, and physical examination.
- Donor Reaction Management: Evaluate and manage donor reaction(s) that occur at the facility, following applicable SOPs.
- Donor Deferral: Manage donor deferral, reviewing test results and notifying donors of unsuitable test results per applicable SOPs.
- Post Donation Information: Initiate and investigate Post Donation Information (PDI).
- Education: Graduate of a recognized educational program.
- License/Certification: Currently licensed or certified in the state where duties will be assigned: Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN or LVN).
- Experience: Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
