Position Overview:


The Tax Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting clients or organizations through the intricacies of tax preparation, ensuring the precise and timely submission of tax returns.

Tax Specialist Job Details:
  • Schedule: Offers a Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Options for both Full Time and Part Time are available.
  • Compensation: $33.65 - $48.07 per hour
Tax Specialist Job Responsibilities:
  1. Advising clients or organizations on the tax preparation process.
  2. Gathering necessary financial documentation, such as pay stubs and income statements.
  3. Entering data from financial records into tax preparation software or databases.
  4. Applying relevant federal, state, and local tax regulations to ascertain deductions and determine the tax obligations of each client.
  5. Completing and submitting tax documents to the appropriate authorities, including the IRS and state and local agencies.
  6. Representing clients with relevant agencies as necessary.
  7. Fostering client relationships to enhance and grow the business.

Tax Specialist Job Requirements:
  1. 5-7 years of experience in corporate, partnership, or individual tax preparation.
  2. Proficient computer skills, including email and documentation.
  3. CPA experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  4. Experience with Ultra Tax is advantageous but not essential.
  5. Excellent communication skills are required.
