Job Title: Histology Technologist

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Histology Technologist to support the VA San Diego Healthcare System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for staining slides, preparing special stained slides, and performing tissue tests.

Responsibilities:
  • Stain slides using routine, immunostain, and special stains
  • Prepare a wide variety of special stained slides requiring complex and delicate processes
  • Perform tissue tests, including sectioning and staining
  • Label slides for microscopic examination
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and answering phone inquiries
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution
  • ASCP professional certification or equivalent nationally-recognized Histology Technologist certification
  • Minimum of one year of experience within the last three years, preferably in an acute care setting
  • Experience in U.S. Government facilities is preferred
