Your Role

The Refrigeration Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facility. This position involves:

  • Conducting maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations of refrigeration systems.
  • Performing preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Applying knowledge of HVAC and ammonia refrigeration.
  • Maintaining and selecting appropriate drive components and bearings.
  • Operating and troubleshooting pumps and pneumatic systems.
  • Adhering to safety protocols, including PPE and Lockout-Tagout procedures.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, reading, and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work in extreme temperatures and at heights.

Work Environment

The work environment may include wet, cold, and noisy conditions. Employees are expected to perform essential functions while adhering to safety standards.
