As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures on general radiographic equipment and expanding your skill set into other modalities such as Interventional Radiology, Mammography, CT, MRI, and Bone Density.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging procedures on all general radiographic equipment
  • Expand skill set into other modalities such as Interventional Radiology, Mammography, CT, MRI, and Bone Density
  • Recognize general radiography anatomy
  • Provide service excellence and comply with hospital policies and procedures
  • Use RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completed an approved and accredited Radiology Technology program
  • Recent hospital-related experience
  • Digital Imaging and post-processing PACS experience
  • Portable and in-department fluoroscopy procedures
  • Operating Room procedures

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current state R.T. license
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
  • 24 ECE credits for re-certification and licensure
  • Endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification
  • ARRT Certified
  • Specialty ARRT Certifications highly desirable

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Maintain competencies in all certified modalities
  • Accommodate scheduling flexibility to support staffing patterns
  • Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups
  • Basic computer skills

Pay Range: $38.42
