Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonograms, providing quality patient care, and assuming responsibility for all ultrasound services offered. This role requires minimal supervision and involves working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic medical sonograms, both general and vascular
  • Provide quality patient care and ensure a positive experience for all patients
  • Assume responsibility for all ultrasound services offered, including equipment maintenance and quality control
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) or equivalent education/experience
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 2 years of experience preferred
