Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated Local Contract Nurse RN to work in our NICU department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal intensive care and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest NICU practices
  • Float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses

Requirements:

  • Current CA License
  • 2 years of recent Level 4 experience
  • Will consider strong Level 3 RN if they come from a Level 3 NICU that performs surgeries on newborns
  • Will consider strong 1st time traveler
  • BLS
  • Advanced NRP
  • PALS Preferred
  • Must have own transportation
  • Experience in: Oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes

Shifts:

  • 3x12 Variable or straight nights
  • Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday for day shift and Friday/Saturday/Sunday for night shift)
  • 14 week contracts only
