Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echo Tech to join our team at Los Alamos Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiology/Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and prepare patients for procedures
  • Select and adjust equipment according to test specifications and patient needs
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
  • Recognize and differentiate anatomical/pathological structures and artifacts on ultrasound images
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved program in Ultrasound/Sonography or equivalent
  • Current ARDMS registry (RVT), ARRT (VS), or CCI (RVS) certification
  • NM Medical Imaging License to practice as a Sonographer
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
