About the Role

V&V Supremo Foods Inc is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, including scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Facilities Management: Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities, ensuring that costs are controlled and optimized.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with our Quality Assurance team to ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with our quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial technology) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision or a related field; experience in food manufacturing preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair; excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
