Job Title: Sushi Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Line Cook to join our culinary team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Sushi Line Cook, you will play a vital role in creating a variety of delicious raw, cooked, and vegetable sushi rolls and other unique menu items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients to be used by the culinary team, ensuring high-quality meals are consistently delivered to our guests.
  • Follow proper recipes, knife skills, and cooking techniques to produce a consistent outcome.
  • Multitask and balance prep work while ensuring guests' meals are prepared in a timely manner with the highest standards of quality maintained.
Requirements:
  • Food preparation experience.
  • Knowledge of related products.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience cutting sashimi and sushi neta.
  • Experience in Sushi preparation in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Experience working as a Sushi Cook.
