Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited institution with a Master's degree in communication disorders recognized by ASHA and the state board.
- Current licensure and/or registration as a Speech Language Pathologist in the applicable state is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech therapy evaluations as per physician directives.
- Accurately document findings using standardized evaluation formats, adhering to all guidelines.
- Develop a comprehensive treatment plan that includes both long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, treatment modalities, therapeutic interventions, and clinical guidelines.
- Ensure that physician orders are secured for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
- Deliver effective treatment to patients, utilizing appropriate modalities and adjusting patient care as necessary while following safety precautions.
Work Environment: Various settings including outpatient facilities, rehabilitation centers, long-term care, inpatient clinics, nursing homes, acute care, and hospitals.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of USD $42.50.
