Job Title: Senior Welding Inspector (Dual Cert)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize inspection duties in advance to ensure seamless project execution.

• Collaborate with the Chief Inspection to discuss design changes or material substitutions and obtain necessary approvals.

• Verify radiographer certification and ensure adherence to established radiographic procedures.

• Stay up-to-date with approved construction drawings and company specifications to ensure compliance.

• Understand contract documents related to project duties and complete inspection reports accurately.

• Ensure all materials used in the installation meet company requirements and establish welding procedures as needed.

• Qualify welders for the work they perform and observe welding techniques to ensure proper procedures are followed.

• Coordinate radiographic crew activities with contractors and monitor the quality of welds to ensure sound welds are made at all joints.

• Ensure repairs made to correct defects in a pipe weld sufficiently correct the defect and meet code requirements.

• Maintain proper documentation by the radiographic crew, including the disposition of each reject.

Requirements:

• API 1169 certification

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

• CWI certification

• NACE 2 certification

• 10 years of hands-on experience

• 5 years of supervisor experience

• Calibrated Welding and Coating Inspection Kit

• Station experience
