Patient Care Specialist

DaVita Inc. is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician to join our outpatient dialysis team in Milford, Pennsylvania. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to provide direct patient care to individuals suffering from end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional group of clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care and support.

ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:
- Direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Recording patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Building long-term relationships with patients and educating them on kidney dialysis-related topics
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to mix acid or bicarb

CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $46,000-$56,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate, plus additional incentives and benefits.
