Job Summary:

Georgia Military College is seeking a part-time custodial worker to join our team. As a custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Empty trash and recyclables.
  • Operate custodial equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops.
  • Use chemicals and cleaning solutions safely and effectively.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of correct usage of chemicals used in custodial work.
  • Prior experience using custodial equipment.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working 29 hours per week. Hours are typically 4pm-9pm on weekdays, but occasional weekend hours may be required.
