Job Overview

The CNC Equipment Operators at Sentech Services are responsible for managing the operation of CNC machinery and auxiliary equipment, ensuring that parts are thoroughly washed, inspected, and packaged according to stringent quality standards. This role also involves mentoring fellow team members on operational expectations within the production cell.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in safety and 5S initiatives, including conducting surveys, audits, and overseeing the safety practices of all personnel in the department; adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Handle parts by locking, loading, unloading, and blowing off as necessary; perform visual inspections to confirm completion of operations.
  • Utilize gauges as instructed to identify defects.
  • Remove excess material and parting lines from castings as outlined in cell documentation.
  • Conduct washing, leak testing, assembly, and gauging of parts as directed.
  • Place approved parts into designated containers as specified.
  • Document machine processes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods.
  • Prepare necessary production and quality control documentation.
  • Fulfill machine-specific Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) requirements.
  • Report any machine issues or material concerns to the Machine Technician or Supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Capability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items weighing up to 55 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, performing basic mathematical calculations, and conducting visual inspections.
