Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist Assistant

Accede Solutions Inc is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Travel Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Travel PTA, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, from newborns to individuals at the end of life, and assist the physical therapist in implementing components of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement patient care components, obtain data related to treatments provided, and collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary.
  • Assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals with various physical therapy needs.
  • Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups.
  • Read instructions from the Physical Therapist and work directly with them to assist patients.
  • Speak with families to find the best at-home techniques for patients.
  • Keep the physical therapy area clean and organized.
  • Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the physical therapy area.
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.
  • Teach patients techniques like balance training.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of PT experience - Preferred
  • LTC or Rehab Experience - Required
  • PTA - license
Certification Requirements:
  • CPR
State License Requirements:
  • Missouri
  • Compact Allowed
