RN - Neuro Acute Care Specialist

As a Registered Nurse in our Neuro Acute Care unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex neurological conditions. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and develop strategies to prevent or manage them.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
• National Provider BLS certification and NIH Stroke Scale training within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
