Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Truck Driver to join our team at Lansing Building Products in Boise, ID. As a Local Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering building products to customers in the local area, while also working in our warehouse to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver building products to customers in the local area, using a late model truck with backup camera
  • Work in our warehouse to receive and store products, as well as perform cycle counts and inventory tasks
  • Interact with customers and crews at job sites to provide exceptional service
  • Use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries and navigate warehouse operations
Requirements
  • CDL A license required
  • Minimum of one year driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Moffett forklift experience (training provided as needed)
  • Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck (training provided as needed)
  • Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus, as well as work as a contributing member of a larger team
  • Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 80 pounds
  • Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
  • No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
Benefits
  • $23-$27 per hour with 40 hours guaranteed
  • Overtime eligible position (overtime not guaranteed)

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday schedule, with shifts typically starting between 7:00 AM and ending at approximately 5:00 PM. Home every night, with no weekend work required.
