Orthopaedic Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Surgical Scheduler and Medical Assistant at Active Orthopaedics PC. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating surgeries, managing schedules, and providing exceptional customer service.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Booking and rescheduling clinical appointments as needed.
- Triageing appointments and remediating urgent appointments between physician assistants and surgeons.
- Respecting and protecting patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Displaying a positive attitude when interacting with physician office staff, physicians, and fellow employees.
To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position. You should also possess basic computer skills, excellent telephone and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, and paid time off.
