**Job Title:** Speech-Language Pathologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Region 18 Consortium. As a key member of our education department, you will play a crucial role in providing speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university, as well as a valid license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or a Bachelor's degree and valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting independent evaluations to assess students with speech or language disorders and conditions.
  • Providing individual and group therapy to students consistent with speech and language goals contained in Individual Education Plans (IEP).
  • Developing clinical management strategies or procedures and diagnostic statements.
  • Participating in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee.
