Job Description:

A network security analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of an organization's information systems and computer networks. This involves protecting the company against cyber threats, monitoring network traffic and server logs for suspicious activity, and identifying vulnerabilities in the network.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in utilizing EDR/XDR platforms, threat hunting frameworks, and threat modeling methodologies. They will also be skilled in developing and maintaining threat hunting program documentation, as well as providing support to internal cybersecurity Incident Response teams.

Required Skills:

  • 3 years' experience in utilizing EDR/XDR platforms, including NetWitness, SentinelOne, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
  • 3 years' experience in threat hunting research and development
  • 3 years' experience in leveraging cyber threat hunting frameworks, including PEAK, Sqrrl, and TaHiTI
  • 3 years' experience in employing threat modeling methodologies, such as STRIDE, TRIKE, and MITRE Telecommunication&CK
  • 3 years' experience in developing and maintaining threat hunting program documentation
  • 3 years' experience in CTI analyst experience within a security operations center (SOC)

Preferred Skills:

  • 5 years' experience in dynamic and static malware analysis tools and techniques
  • 5 years' experience in OSINT analyst experience in utilizing brand and dark web intelligence tools
  • 5 years' experience in utilizing industry research, team meetings, and collaboration with IT and business units
  • 5 years' experience in performing scheduled and ad-hoc meetings with software and technical vendors
  • 5 years' experience in troubleshooting, researching, and resolving systemic issues in EDR/XDR tools
  • 5 years' experience in assisting in data parsing and normalization in NetWitness, SentinelOne, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

Benefits:

Rate: $53.33 to $63.33 /Hr DOE
