At TriHealth, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Transport Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Transport Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients within our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients to and from various areas, including nursing units, procedure areas, testing areas, therapy, and laboratory areas.
  • Provide assistance to patients arriving and departing from the hospital, including escorting them to their destinations and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Handle and transport medication, specimens, and supplies to and from various locations within the hospital.
  • Assist in the physical movement of patients to and from bed and/or equipment.
  • Practice all basic hospital safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Degree
  • BLS Certification
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills
  • Knowledge of computers and phones
  • Ability to pass a CPR course
  • Ability to effectively use a two-way radio
