The Night Auditor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and accounting functions during the overnight shift. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:- Front Desk Operations: Register guests, make reservations, and handle guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accounting and Financial Management: Balance transactions, prepare daily reports, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Security and Safety: Conduct security walks, ensure all areas are locked and secured, and respond to emergency situations.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain radio contact with other associates, train new staff members, and work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete the End of Day process, run reports, and perform other administrative duties as required.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- College coursework in a related field helpful.
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and basic arithmetic functions.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
