Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty Hospitality Management Professional to join our team at the Virginia Community College System. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching college-level Hospitality Management courses at our Annandale campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach college-level Hospitality Management courses to students with diverse academic backgrounds and experiences.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans and teaching strategies to promote student learning and engagement.
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in Hospitality Management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a closely related field.
- Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Hospitality Management or a closely related field, and/or relevant occupational experience.
- College-level teaching experience.
- Experience with learning management systems, such as CANVAS.
- ServSafe certification.
Preferred Qualifications:

Working Conditions:
Adjunct faculty members are employed to teach up to 12 credit hours in the fall and spring semester and/or up to 8 credit hours during summer session. Teaching load is based upon student enrollment and staffing needs.
