Mercatalyst, the creators of innovative solutions and future projects, is in search of exceptional Salesforce Development Engineers with a robust background in Salesforce to enhance our internal systems and infrastructure.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the software that supports various internal operations, including supply chain management, warehouse operations, shipping logistics, vendor relations, customer service, and financial accounting. If you find this role intriguing and not mundane, we would love to connect with you. However, we seek candidates who are truly outstanding in their field.

Important Note: This position is not focused on Salesforce Administration. While familiarity with adding fields, modifying layouts, creating dashboards and reports, managing user permissions, and building approval workflows is necessary, the emphasis is on your coding skills. You will be expected to write code in Salesforce technologies (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SOQL, SOSL, etc.) as well as in other programming languages (we utilize Elm, Python, and others).

Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a solid Computer Science background.
  • Demonstrate software engineering experience with technologies beyond Salesforce.
  • Have at least 1 year of Salesforce development experience.
  • Show proficiency with the Salesforce platform, AppExchange, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Experience with ERP, Financial Management, and Supply Chain Management solutions is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Computer Science background is essential.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a development role.
  • 1-3 years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, AppExchange, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Experience with ERP, Financial Management, and Supply Chain Management products is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of e-commerce experience is beneficial.
